This small village of only 39 inhabitants is reached via the NA-7500 road.
The village has some interesting buildings including a protogothic church and a lovely “frontón” (pelota court) with a wood-beamed roof. The church, complete with a beautiful stylised tower, dates back to the beginning of the 13th century and is dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
The source of the River Larraun is in Iribas.
